A simple desk in white oiled birch ply. The structure and fixings are left prominent as a design feature. The desk is height adjustable through an electric motor, allowing the user to work standing or sitting.
These shelves were made from reclaimed victorian floor joists. The timber was carefully treated and oiled to maintain its character and the structure was designed using halving joints and a minimal amount of fixings.
These units were made from walnut and white oiled birch. The desks slot into the library units without fixings. The layout can be easily disassembled and reassembled if the space needs to be used for a different function.
A play on the 1963 design by Ernest Race. These were built as personal gifts. They’re made from a variety of hardwoods and feature several traditional woodworking joints such a ‘through dovetails’ and ‘wedged through tenons’.
